Mary is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with many years of experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in a range of contexts both locally and internationally.
Dr Deirdre MacManus - Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead
Deirdre is a consultant psychiatrist and senior clinical lecturer at King’s College London. She is experienced in assessing and treating a wide range of mental health problems from mild to severe, with particular expertise in assessing and treating individuals who have served in the military. She has a special interest in military mental health research and has carried out extensive research into the impact of service on health and well-being of military personnel. She has published widely in this area.
Dr Sue Ferrier - Lead Clinical Psychologist Prison In-Reach Service and Service Co-ordinator
Sue is a chartered Clinical Psychologist with many years experience of treating a wide range of psychological difficulties from mild to complex presentations including dual diagnosis. She has specialist training in trauma focused therapy, including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing
Dr Alyssa Joye – Clinical Psychologist
Alyssa is a Clinical Psychologist with experience of working with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including complex trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She has experience using a range of trauma focused therapies including trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and compassion focused approaches.
Cass McLaughlin - Clinical Nurse Specialist (Military)
Cass is a registered nurse with 24 years’ experience in Community Psychiatric Nursing and NHS management. She is a Commissioned Officer with 256 Field Hospital London (V) and has deployed to Iraq and Bosnia.
Trish Sullivan - Administrator
Trish is an experienced administrator and has been with the service since its inception. She is the first point of contact for telephone queries.
Angela Smith - Clinical Nurse Specialist, HMPs Wandsworth and Brixton
Angela is a registered mental health nurse who has extensive experience working in the mental health field with offenders. Angela set up and ran our first prison in-reach pilot at HMP Wandsworth, funded by NHS England.
Raquel Williams – Clinical Nurse Specialist, HMP Thameside and HMP YOI Isis
Raquel is a registered mental health nurse with experience working in a wide range of mental health settings, within acute and community services.
We also have Assistant Psychologists who provide support to the team.
